Salient Features

 This tool is designed for computing wind pressures on different elements of rectangular-clad structures, whether they are constructed with reinforced concrete (RCC) or structural steel. It covers buildings featuring flat or pitched roofs supported by either steel trusses or gable frames.

 At present, the application exclusively accommodates the Indian design code for wind loads, namely IS875 Part-3.

 The roof slope can be provided either in the format 1:X or as the ridge height.

 This application produces five output sheets summarizing pressure coefficients, uniformly distributed loads, and their directions relative to structure global axes.

 Design wind pressures are calculated considering both pressure and suction, resulting in a total of 8 primary load cases.

 The design wind pressures obtained can be directly applied as uniformly distributed loads (UDL) in the structure model.
