Spread Footing (V 2.5)

From 5,382.00 + GST

Salient Features

Most cost-effective design of spread footing to Limit State method of IS456 & BS8110. It can also be applied for design using any other code that follows similar design principles to IS456 or BS8110.

Handles up to 10 support joints and 500 load combinations (LCs) in a single run.

All governing LCs selected automatically by software.

Facilitates input of ‘LC-specific’ values for SBC increase, factor of safety (FOS) against uplift, sliding & overturning, as well as the percentage of restoring moment for overturning checks.

Global to local axes conversion at a mouse click.

Three design options available based on degree of economy desired, all of which conform to the design code.
Reactive forces can be applied at both pedestal & footing levels.

Computes backfill load according to footing location (corner/edge/center) and applies this data to realistically estimate restoring forces against uplift, avoiding oversized footings.

Loss of contact (LOC) with soil can be limited to any user-specified value.

Design checks include those for SBC, 2-way shear, 1-way shear, sagging flexure, hogging flexure, uplift, sliding & overturning. Aspect ratios of the footing (L/B, L/D & B/D) can be controlled precisely to get desired results.

Detailed design report with step-by-step calculations, dynamic formulae, and code references.

Retrieve design report for ‘any’ user-specified size selected from successful footings listed in the last output sheet.

Provides BOQ and cost estimates for rebar, concrete & formwork, presented in both absolute values and percentages. Quantities are specified for both individual footing and all footings collectively.

Provides output sketch with GA & rebar details in structure global axes.

Complies with Oil & Gas industry principles, PIPs & DEPs.

Scores of design options to cover a wide range of structures & industries.
