 The weights of individual elements are determined either by utilizing their unit weights available in the built-in steel tables within the software or by employing first principles, taking into account the density of steel, which is 7850 kg/cu.m.

 Enter an appropriate percentage value for any items not accounted for in the input, such as stiffeners, seat angles, cleats, clips, shims, etc., utilizing the input fields under the ‘Extra’ column.

 The notes within the ‘Remarks’ column can serve to identify the specific item for the corresponding steel member when needed at a later time.
