Salient Features
Most cost-effective design of RCC slab to Limit State method of IS456 code. It can also be applied for design using any other code that follows similar design principles to IS456.
Users can input three categories of area loads, each with its designated load factor. This enables the design of roof slabs to accommodate blast loads in the vertical direction, in addition to the standard dead and live loads.
It is possible to design slabs with diverse combinations of continuous and discontinuous edges.
Design checks include those for flexure, shear & deflection.
After finalizing the slab design with a practical rounded-off value (ROV) for slab thickness, users can gain an understanding of the approximate reserve strength within the slab.
